My Pourqoi Story

The Legend of the Bunny Rabbit
Once upon a time, there lived an ordinary bunny rabbit, who longed to have a life filled with company and she also longed to have a special appearance so everyone could see how unique she was.

One day she set off for a journey, to look for someone who could change her lonely life. She went over hills and mountains, under fallen trees and through savannas in the hot sizzling sun,
“ Phew, I need to stop, for a long refreshing drink!!!” she said huffing and puffing. Then she stopped by a nearby water hole. She saw some giraffes and asked them “ Um, excuse me, do you know who can make me unique, so I’m different from everybody?” She waited for an answer, then the smallest giraffe replied, “ I… I know where you can go!”
“You do?” said the rabbit.
“ Yes, go and see… th..the wise owl, who lives in the deep...deepest part of the forbidden for..forest!” And with that, the little giraffe galloped off to be with his family. Then, the little bunny rabbit set off for the deepest part of the forbidden forest, to see the wise owl that the young giraffe had told her about. Soon dusk covered the woods, and she was frightened. With every twig that broke, she shivered in fright. Once she had found and entered the forbidden forest, she heard a sudden howl, “Hoooooooooowl!!!” Now she wished that she had never come on this long, tiring  journey. Suddenly she heard a whizzing sound, and a sound of flapping wings. “ Is...is anyone there?” She said.
“Hoot, Hoot!” said the wise owl. “ I sensed that you were coming! What has brought you here?” The bunny rabbit replied “ I ca...came to see you because I he...heard that y...you could make me “SPECIAL” and “UNIQUE” different from everybody else!”
“But, what will you give me in return for my excellent magic wonders?”
The bunny rabbit replied “I have no wealth to give you but I will stay and bake you the richest carrot cakes. I will also repay your friendliness to me by being your most loyal friend.”

And with that, the bunny rabbit began to transform before the owl’s very eyes.  She began to rise and then she suddenly dropped and she was the fluffiest, cutest bunny rabbit ever, and she had the longest ears in the whole woods.

The End!!!
